Senior Software Engineer, Front-end

Overview We are building consumer software that reshapes how people travel and are looking for software engineers who can ship features end‑to‑end, collaborate closely with product and design, and scale our architecture. Responsibilities Scope, build, test, review, ship, and measure features end‑to‑end. Critically review code written by yourself, teammates, and tools. Identify areas to improve and scale the architecture. Ensure proper technical design and documentation. Build tooling on the web platform to make the team faster. Collaborate closely with product and design, contributing direct input on features. Move fast in an environment with shifting requirements and ambiguous solutions. Qualifications 4+ years shipping production web applications. Strong expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and Next.js. Fluency with modern AI coding tools such as Cursor, Copilot, or Claude. Habit of testing code you write and reviewing what others produce. Ability to take ambiguous requirements, scope them, and deliver. Clear communication, able to explain a technical trade‑off to a product manager. Preferred Experience across the stack (backend, CI, infrastructure). Experience building for a two‑sided marketplace. Experience in insurance, risk, or trust & safety. Previous startup experience. Compensation Target base salary range in San Francisco: $156,000–$195,000 annually.
