Job Responsibilities

• Craft Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess individual patient needs and design customized therapy interventions aimed at achieving functional goals.
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Leverage evidence-based methods to enhance patients' motor abilities, cognitive skills, and daily living functionality.
• Engage with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work side-by-side with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive and holistic care.
• Educate Patients and Families: Empower patients and their caregivers with knowledge of therapeutic exercises and methods to encourage progress outside of therapy sessions.
• Track and Record Outcomes: Monitor patient progress and adapt treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery.

Education

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college or university
• Continuing education and post-graduate certifications are encouraged and actively supported

Certifications

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory
