Automotive Service Advisor
Ossie’s Auto Repair | Bohemia, NY
$85,000–$135,000 annually | Full-time | Monday–Friday | No weekends

Know your way around a busy service counter? Comfortable explaining repairs, earning a customer’s trust, and asking for the sale? We’d like to talk.

Ossie’s Auto Repair is a family-owned shop on Lakeland Avenue in Bohemia. We’re hiring an experienced service advisor who can take care of customers and keep work moving through the shop.

The job

You’ll handle the customer’s visit from the first phone call through pickup. That means listening carefully, writing accurate repair orders, presenting estimates, getting approvals, and keeping customers updated.

You’ll also:

• Send customers their digital vehicle inspections and walk them through the findings.
• Explain which repairs need attention now and which can be planned for later.
• Coordinate with technicians, order parts, and keep track of job status.
• Follow up on estimates and recommended work.
• Keep appointments, authorizations, and customer conversations organized.

We need someone who follows through. Customers should hear from you before they have to call asking what’s happening with their car.

Who we’re looking for

Previous automotive service advisor or service writer experience is required. Independent repair shop, dealership, and tire shop backgrounds are welcome.

You should be comfortable selling needed repairs and maintenance, answering questions about price, and handling several customers without losing track of the details. Clear communication, dependable attendance, and accurate paperwork matter here.
