CT Technologist

Location: Asheville, NC

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 12:00 PM - 10:30 PM

Job Description: The CT Technologist will be responsible for performing a variety of imaging procedures, including neuro, musculoskeletal (MSK), body imaging, and invasive cardiac imaging. The ideal candidate will excel at both diagnostic scans and invasive procedures, particularly within the emergency department context.

Responsibilities:

• Perform CT scans and other imaging procedures as per physician requests.
• Assist in trauma and stroke imaging in the emergency department.
• Maintain equipment and ensure proper functioning of imaging devices.
• Collaborate with medical staff to ensure quality patient care.
• Work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating self-motivation.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• ARRT (R) certification required.
• Experience in CT imaging, including diagnostic scans and invasive procedures.
• Preferred experience with GE equipment and pediatric imaging.
• Skills in venipuncture and cardiac CT are advantageous.
