Special Events Coordinator

Job Summary:


The Special Events Coordinator manages and executes beverage (product)-sponsored events at assigned accounts to achieve maximum brand exposure.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Plans and executes all aspects of each event at assigned accounts: logistics, supplies, signage, advertising/public relations, staffing
• Develops and maintains an effective rapport with all assigned customers
• Distributes all necessary Point-of-Sale (POS) materials and other supplies and equipment for each event
• Coordinates the setup of equipment, signage and POS for each event
• Monitors all event equipment and supplies for proper inventory and maintenance
• Maintains adequate brand portfolio at each event
• Monitors stock levels and freshness of product at each account to ensure no out-of-stocks and proper rotation for each event
• Completes training, seminars and classes as assigned
• Executes all events in accordance with company guidelines and TABC (Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission)
• Completes and submits required reports accurately and on time
• Other duties as necessary to execute a successful

Requirements

Job Requirements:

• A qualified Special Events Coordinator must have 1-3 years of related experience
• Must possess basic computer skills
• Must be detail oriented and organized and possess excellent project management skills

Physical Demands:


While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Exposure to frequent sitting. May have to lift to 50 pounds.

Special Certifications and Licenses:

• Must possess and maintain a valid state Driver's License with an acceptable driving record.
• Must be able to pass criminal background and drug screen.
