Counselor/Social worker

Seeking a qualified Counselor/Social Worker. This position requires experience in providing direct clinical services, case management, and support to justice-impacted individuals, youth, families, or community-based populations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of trauma-informed, strengths-based, and culturally responsive practices, alongside maintaining accurate and compliant clinical documentation. Type: Flexible / Self-Selected Location: Columbus, OH 43235 Pay: $35-40/hr Qualifications: Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a mental health center, children's services, court system, or prison system Experience working with justice-impacted individuals, youth, families, or community-based populations preferred Knowledge of trauma-informed, strengths-based, and culturally responsive practices Education: Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field Technical Skills: Proficient in maintaining accurate clinical documentation, case notes, assessments, and progress reports Knowledge: Current Ohio licensure required (LSW, LPC, LPCC, LISW, or equivalent) Key Responsibilities: Conduct intake assessments, ongoing clinical evaluations, and individual and group counseling services Develop and implement individualized treatment plans while supporting participants with coping skills and goal achievement Coordinate referrals to internal and external support services and advocate for participants’ needs Monitor participant progress, adjust services as needed, and maintain accurate and compliant clinical documentation Complete required case notes, assessments, and progress reports in accordance with confidentiality and ethical standards Participate in individual and group clinical supervision, case reviews, staff meetings, and trainings Collaborate with Program Coordinators, mentors, and support staff to support participant outcomes #J-18808-Ljbffr
