Position Summary Join our freezer, cooler, and deli team to keep shelves stocked, maintain sanitary conditions, and provide front‑line customer service. Your smile and service can make a difference between a good and a great shopping experience. You will be instrumental in: Ensuring high‑quality products are cared for and available for members Maintaining clean shelves, proper temperature control, and accurate expiration dates Packing ready‑to‑sell products in proper containers and displays Keeping a clean, sanitized, and member‑ready area Responsibilities Maintains safety of Facility by following all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines including conducting safety sweeps; following proper forklift spotting procedures; handling and disposing of hazardous materials; following Company steel standard guidelines; and reporting unsafe situations to Management. Maintains the Sales Floor and merchandise presentation in the Freezer/Cooler/Deli area by properly handling claims and returns; zoning the area; receiving and stocking merchandise; setting up, cleaning, and organizing product displays; removing damaged goods; signing and pricing merchandise appropriately; completing required audits, paperwork, logs, and other required documentation; and securing fragile and high‑shrink merchandise. Provides Member service by acknowledging the Member and identifying their needs; locating merchandise and assisting with purchasing decisions; providing Deli products to Members; resolving issues and concerns; and promoting the Company’s products and services. Follows Company policies and procedures related to the Freezer/Cooler area by complying with food handling policies; operating, repairing, and sanitizing equipment; following Cold Chain procedures when stocking merchandise; cleaning freezer/cooler/deli area (e.g., windows, mirrors, display cases, and coolers); monitoring freezer/cooler fans, drains, and doors for proper operation; and reporting issues to Management.
