Retail Shift Leader (Montrose)

Position Summary Part-time Shift Leader at Canna Cabana. Key Responsibilities Assist store management in supervising and facilitating daily operations. Act as acting Store Manager when the SM or ASMA is absent. Lead key personnel management during shifts and resolve customer service issues. Provide direction, guidance and instruction to all store associates as needed. Maintain store conditions to established standards. Ensure adequate staffing levels as requested. Serve as sales and customer‑service role model, greeting and assisting customers in an exemplary manner. Enforce company policies and relevant legislation. Handle customer complaints and, if necessary, elevate them to the appropriate individual. Adhere to health, safety and security regulations on shift. Drive sales targets and store‑level KPIs; ensure employees pursue sales goals during the shift. Oversee and assist in inventory management and hold accountability for inventory processes on shift. Qualifications Valid Cannabis Sales licence. Successful completion of a Police Background Check. Minimum two years of retail experience; cannabis industry experience preferred. First Aid certification considered an asset. Demonstrated sales and service orientation. Excellent time‑management and prioritizing skills. Ability to train and motivate staff. Basic office administration skills. High proficiency with Microsoft Office productivity suite. Strong teamwork and communication skills (verbally and in writing). Solid customer service and troubleshooting skills. Well‑defined sense of diplomacy. Thorough understanding of applicable health and safety legislation. Professional, responsive and positive work attitude. Work Conditions Part‑time, permanent. Shift work: any shift based on business needs, Monday to Sunday, including nights, holidays and weekends, and across different locations. Pay: $19.00 – $21.00 CAD per hour.
