If you are looking for a challenging and rewarding career opportunity, we encourage you to apply.Responsibilities:Perform skin treatments for all residents under your care, obtaining treatment orders from attending physicians and assisting with modifying treatment regimens as neededComplete head-to-toe body audits on new admissions and re-admissions to identify open areas and ensure implementation of skin sheets, treatment orders, and preventative measuresUpdate skin sheets every 7 days and review residents with new skin alterations to ensure implementation of skin care treatment and care plansProvide wound care when needed and delegate prnMaintain accurate and timely documentation of wound care treatments and resident progressCollaborate with the wound physician to develop and implement individualized wound care plansEducate and supervise certified nursing assistants (CNAs) and other staff members on wound care principles and proceduresParticipate in departmental meetings and in-services as directedEssential Functions:Complete daily, weekly, and ongoing responsibilities as outlined in the job descriptionMaintain accurate and timely documentation of resident care and progressCollaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plansProvide wound care and education to residents, families, and staff membersMaintain a safe and clean environment for residents and staffRequirements:Graduate from an accredited nursing programCurrent State License as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical NurseC.P.R.
