Contract LVN/LPN - 6-Month Assignment

Protouch Staffing is seeking experienced Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVN/LPNs) for a 6-month contract assignment in Texas. Position: Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN/LPN) $43/hr

Contract Length: 6 months
Schedule: Sunday-Saturday, based on unit staffing needs
Location: Wichita Falls, Texas

Available Shifts - 8hr or 12hr

Please note: Shift assignments may rotate based on staffing requirements.

What You'll Do

As an LVN/LPN, you will provide direct nursing care to individuals with complex medical, behavioral, and mental health needs. Responsibilities include:

• Administer medications, immunizations, and prescribed treatments.

• Monitor patients for unusual symptoms, reactions, and changes in condition.

• Monitor vital signs, weight, nutrition, diet, and feeding needs.

• Recognize signs and symptoms of illness and use appropriate nursing judgment to provide timely care.

• Initiate appropriate acute-care interventions when necessary.

• Provide nursing care in accordance with established nursing standards and applicable state regulations.

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, records, reports, and electronic data.

• Collaborate with the healthcare team to support patient safety, treatment plans, and overall well-being.

• Follow applicable facility policies, procedures, safety standards, and quality-of-care requirements.

• Maintain professional standards while delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.

Requirements

• Current Texas LVN/LPN license , or an active compact-state nursing license eligible for practice in Texas.

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.

• Must be eligible to provide services to individuals covered by Medicare and Medicaid.

• Successful completion of required drug screening and background/credentialing checks.

• Successful completion of applicable fingerprint and registry clearance requirements.

• Compliance with required immunizations and health screenings.

• Completion of required orientation, onboarding, CPR, and facility-specific training.

• Ability to work assigned shifts, including weekends, based on staffing requirements.

• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and commitment to patient care.

Contract & Start Information

This is a 6-month contract assignment .

Candidates may begin on the first of the month , subject to completion of all required compliance, credentialing, and clearance requirements.

Required orientation/onboarding activities are conducted Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM during the first month .

Important: The official contract start date begins once all required compliance and clearance requirements have been successfully completed.
