Job Opportunity

Position Overview

This role involves backfilling for a travel NICU Respiratory Therapist. The position requires a commitment to a shift from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Candidates must have NICU experience to qualify for this position.

Facility Overview

The facility is a 216-bed acute care hospital located in Panama City, FL, serving Bay County and surrounding communities for over 40 years. It has been recognized as a Joint Commission Top Performer and has achieved various certifications in key quality measures, including heart failure, heart attack, pneumonia, surgical care, and perinatal care.

Unit Information

  • Number of Beds: 226
  • Number of Staff: 35
  • Staff Composition:

    • Day Shift: 1 Charge Nurse, 3 RNs, 2 CNAs, and 1-3 Sitters
    • Night Shift: Patient ratios vary depending on coverage
  • Equipment: EMR Meditech
Job Requirements
  • Must Have:

    • Experience in Adult and Level 3 NICU
  • Preferred Skills:

    • Experience with PB 840 and Draeger vents
    • Experience with surfactant delivery

Team Environment

The ideal candidate should be team-oriented and willing to collaborate with staff across various roles. Weekend work may be required based on unit needs.

Dress Code

Scrubs should be royal blue. Please refrain from wearing unacceptable attire as outlined in the unit guidelines.
