Location: Walnut Creek, California
Department/Unit: Cardiac Cath Lab
Salary Range: $60 to $80 per hour
Shift: 10-hour Day Shift (07:00 AM - 05:30 PM)
Duration: 13 weeks / 40 hours per week (Contract)
Job DescriptionElitecare Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled and dedicated Travel Radiologic Technologist for our Diagnostic Imaging team in Walnut Creek, CA. This position involves working in the Cardiac Cath Lab, performing specialized procedures with state-of-the-art equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab, including IR, Angio, and Cardiology studies.
- Ensure high-quality imaging standards and patient safety during procedures.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to provide exceptional patient care.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of procedures performed.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and best practices in the imaging department.
- Be available for on-call shifts and respond to the hospital within 30 minutes when called.
- Certifications:
- Current AART certification.
- Valid California Radiologic Technologist license.
- Fluoroscopy license must be in hand.
- Experience: Previous experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab or similar specialized procedure environment preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in operating Toshiba and Philips imaging equipment.
- Travel Requirements: Must be able to work within a 50-mile radius of Walnut Creek, CA.
