Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - 13 Week Contract

This is a 13-week contract position.

Days - Guaranteed 36 hours, typically working 40 hours per week.

The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) will provide support in implementing treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist. This role involves engaging with patients to assist them in their rehabilitation journey, ensuring that they receive the highest standard of care.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation of treatment plans for patients under the guidance of a Physical Therapist.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment protocols and activities to promote recovery.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients during therapy sessions.
• Document patient performance and progress throughout the therapy sessions.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Experience in a clinical setting preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare team members.
