Position Overview
AVStar Fuel Systems Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Aerospace Quality Inspector to ensure that all components and assemblies meet strict industry standards and regulatory requirements. This role plays a critical part in maintaining safety, reliability, and compliance across our aerospace manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform detailed inspections of aerospace parts, assemblies, and materials using precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, CMMs).
• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications to verify product conformity.
• Conduct first article, in-process, and final inspections.
• Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records.
• Identify non-conformances and collaborate with engineering and production teams on corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards such as AS9100 and FAA regulations.
• Support internal and external audits as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree preferred.
• 2+ years of quality inspection experience in aerospace or a highly regulated manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
• Experience with inspection tools and quality systems.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with AS9102 First Article Inspection requirements.
• Experience using coordinate measuring machines (CMM).
• Knowledge of root cause analysis and corrective action processes.
