Medical AssistantImmediate contract position available for our Orthopedic Surgery physician practice group in Commack, NY.Pay Rate: $23.00/hr Work Schedule: 8am - 4pm or 9am - 5pm (Monday to Friday)Responsibilities:Obtain the patient's medical history and document in the electronic medical recordMedical chart review, assisting providers, rooming patients, taking patient vital signs, EKG, phlebotomy and preparation of exam roomsAssist with front desk responsibilities, as neededQualifications:Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant ProgramExperience with EKG and PhlebotomyBLS CertificationBe able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environmentEPIC system experience a plus
