Senior Electrical Engineer

Senior / Principal Electrical Engineer – Embedded Systems & PCB DesignWe are seeking a Senior or Principal Electrical Engineer to design and develop advanced embedded control systems for industrial packaging equipment. This role focuses on PCB design, embedded hardware development, and equipment controls from concept through production release. You will work on innovative electromechanical systems, contributing to next-generation industrial automation solutions in a highly collaborative engineering environment.Responsibilities:Design embedded control systems for industrial equipmentDevelop PCB designs using Altium DesignerCreate electrical schematics and documentationDesign motor control, heater control, and industrial interfacesPerform troubleshooting and root cause analysisEnsure compliance with NEC, NFPA 79, UL, and CE standardsSupport manufacturing, testing, and equipment commissioningWork with cross-functional engineering teamsQualifications:Required: PCB design experience, Altium Designer proficiency, troubleshooting & root cause analysis, equipment / industrial machine design, microcontroller & microprocessor interfacing, electrical schematic design experiencePreferred: NEC and NFPA 79 experience, cable and wire harness design, AutoCAD Electrical, industrial automation / controls backgroundExperience: 7–10+ years in Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, or Controls EngineeringEducation: BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experienceSealed Air is committed to attracting, selecting, and developing talent that reflects the diversity of the communities and customers we serve.
