Travel Registered Nurse – Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Days | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 15-bed Level II Trauma Pediatric ICU at a 2:1 patient ratio
• Perform IV starts and blood draws in accordance with unit protocols
• Assist with TPT placements and other unit-specific procedures
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including intensivists, respiratory therapists, case management, and dietary staff
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech and CPN EMR systems
• Demonstrate the ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced pediatric teaching hospital environment

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 1 year of current acute care hospital PICU experience
• Current BLS certification
• Current PALS certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• CRRT experience
• APHON certification
• Previous pediatric teaching hospital experience
