Distribution Supervisor

Job Overview We’re seeking a Distribution Supervisor who is ambitious, eager to lead teams, and thrives in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. This role is based 100% on‑site at our Beloit, WI facility and will lead a team of partners to achieve operational excellence in distribution. Responsibilities Train, coach, evaluate, and reinforce Process Excellence principles with partners. Ensure daily production, shipping, and receiving operations are organized to maximize efficiencies and adapt as conditions change. Administer company, plant or department processes in certification programs, pay systems, assessment/feedback processes, and other corporate procedures. Work with the leadership team to ensure compliance with Food Safety and Food Quality Plans and customer requirements. Encourage teamwork and enforce plant and distribution center policies and procedures. Follow Good Manufacturing Practices, good housekeeping guidelines, and safety directives, wearing personal protective equipment and meeting OSHA requirements. Communicate daily essential information and hold partners accountable for performance. Lead initiatives to meet or exceed productivity, quality, and safety goals. Use problem‑solving methods and quality tools to identify and implement process improvements. Plan production operations, set priorities, and monitor progress to satisfy customer needs. Resolve operational, manufacturing, mechanical, and maintenance opportunities to maximize efficiencies at lowest cost. Supervise training activities and verify completion of required paperwork. Assist in staffing decisions for shipping and receiving schedules that align with customer requirements. Interpret and communicate government and industry regulations, including OSHA, USDA, FDA, EPA, EEOC, OFCCP, etc. Make decisions related to HACCP, product quality, hold & release procedures, and other critical controls. Assist with regulatory, customer, and internal audits. Perform process‑related tasks such as CPs, CCPs, QPs, and CQPs checks as required. Travel occasionally as required by the position (valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and acceptable driving record). Qualifications High school diploma or GED required (college degree not required). Minimum 5+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment. Proficient PC skills with Microsoft Excel and Word. Strong understanding of equipment and computer systems used in the facility. Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive results. Goal‑oriented and self‑motivated. Valid driver’s license with at least state‑minimum auto insurance for assigned travel.
