California-Licensed Litigation Attorney (Remote / Full-Time or Part-Time Engagement)Calling all California-licensed litigators: if you enjoy the strategy, intensity, and advocacy of deposition work—but could do without the traditional law firm grind—this opportunity may be for you!Latitude is seeking experienced attorneys with at least five years of litigation experience and substantial backgrounds in taking and defending depositions in complex civil matters to join our team in a flexible remote engagement role. Attorneys in this position will handle remote depositions and support sophisticated litigation matters requiring strong examination skills, an aptitude for advocacy, and sound independent judgment.This opportunity is ideal for seasoned litigators seeking meaningful, high-level work with greater flexibility. Both full-time and part-time schedules will be considered. Candidates may be located anywhere, but active California bar admission is required. The ideal candidate will also possess excellent communication skills and thrive in a remote work environment.This is a fully remote engagement opportunity.Basic Requirements for the California-Licensed Litigation Attorney:5+ years of litigation experience in a law firm settingSubstantial first chair deposition experienceAbility to work independently in a remote environmentJ.D. from an ABA-accredited law schoolLicensed to practice law in California (required)Outstanding professional referencesPosition Details of the California-Licensed Litigation Attorney:Type of role: Contract Engagement Law Firm AttorneySchedule: Full-time or Part-timeLocation: RemoteCompensation:Pay: The annualized pay for this position ranges from $160,000 to $185,000 when calculated on a full-time basis. Pay for contract engagements is based on multiple factors, including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, credentials, location, market supply/demand, and the candidate’s preference (each candidate’s pay rate affects the client bill rate, which can affect the candidate’s competitiveness for the position).Benefits: In addition to pay, all Latitude attorneys and other legal professionals working on contract engagements receive complimentary professional liability insurance coverage for work or acts or omissions provided within the scope of a Latitude-authorized engagement. All Latitude employees (including those on contract engagements) are also eligible for full benefits when working 20+ hours per week, including group medical, dental, and vision insurance, and complimentary group life, LTD and AD&D insurance. A qualified 401k plan is also available.
