Bridge Carpenter

Our areas of expertise include water and wastewater infrastructure development as well as bridge construction. Both locally and nationally we have earned a reputation for project successes in the Utility Construction Industry. With a team of over 100 highly skilled professionals we uphold the highest standards and deliver superior results while balancing many major projects simultaneously. We are currently looking for Bridge Carpenters to join our team.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Construct built-in-place or prefabricated wooden and/or metal forms, according to specifications, for molding concrete structures such as: piers, footers, retaining walls, abutments, parapets, gang forms, decks, etc.
• Saw lumber per blueprint dimensions, using handsaw or power saw, and nail lumber together to make form panels.
• Lift and handle built-in-place forms and/or assembles, erects and installs prefabricated forms.
• Build rough wooden structures such as: scaffolds, temporary frame shelters, overhang jacks and safety railings.
• Concrete finishing skills are a plus.
