T he Assistant General Mana ger provides general supervision, including interviewing and hiring, employee engagement, personal attendance, and training. The AGM contributes to the restaurant's progress and growth. Setting an example to team members of commitment and process experti se. Supervisory Responsibilit ies:Hires and trains restaurant st aff.Organizes and oversees the staff schedu les.Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and construct ive.Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with restaurant pol icy. Duties/Responsibili ties:Supervises food preparation, ensuring compliance with health, safety, food handling, and hygiene stand ards.Ensures customer satisfaction with all aspects of the restaurant and dining experi ence.Handles customer complaints, resolving issues in a diplomatic and courteous ma nner.Ensures compliance with alcoholic beverage regulat ions.Estimates food and beverage c osts.Manages inventory and purchases food and supp lies.Conducts daily inspection of restaurant and equipment to ensure compliance with health, safety, food handling, and hygiene stand ards.Periodically evaluates restaurant equipment for repairs and maintenance, schedules for ser vice.Maintains sales records and tracks cash rece ipts.Prepares and submits operations reports and other documentation requested by the company leader ship.Performs other duties as assi gned.Required Skills/Abilit ies: Strong supervisory and leadership sk ills.Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on customer ser ills.Excellent organizational skills and attention to de tail.Familiarity with food handling, safety, and other restaurant guidel ines.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related soft ware.
