Positional Overview

We are seeking a visionary Enterprise Cyber Architect to lead our client’s Establishment of security standards, governance, and control frameworks, embedding secure-by-design principles across all platforms and engineering practices. This position requires a deep understanding of banking compliance and U.S. Federal regulations, as well as expertise in integrating AI into cybersecurity.

• Strategic Planning: Develop and refine the roadmap for securing an embedded AI hybrid cloud model, ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory requirements.
• Detailed Solutions Architecture: Translate high-level designs into detailed solutions architecture, providing clear guidance for implementation teams.
• Compliance Expertise: Ensure all cyber solutions adhere to banking compliance standards and U.S. Federal regulations.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, security, and business units, to ensure seamless integration of cyber solutions.
• Implementation Guidance: Lead and guide implementation teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.
• Trusted Advisor: Build strong relationships with management, providing expert advice and insights to support decision-making.
• Communication: Effectively communicating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, fostering understanding and collaboration.
• Third Party Engagement: Ensures seamless collaboration between internal teams and external partners directly impacting SLAs, cost, performance, and agility in hybrid cloud environments.

• Defines and drives the enterprise cybersecurity architecture, covering cloud, co-location, and AI platforms, with a focus on future-state design and risk-based prioritization.
• Establishes security standards, governance, and control frameworks, embedding secure-by-design principles across all platforms and engineering practices.
• Leads integration of AI in cybersecurity and securing AI itself, including threat detection, model protection, and regulatory alignment.
• Drives cyber telemetry and observability, ensuring full visibility into threats, system behavior, and risk across traditional and AI-enabled environments.
• Defines and enforces guardrails and governance, including identity, data protection, policy controls, and continuous compliance.
• Applies deep expertise across core cyber domains (IAM, cloud, network, application, SIEM/SOAR) to ensure architectures are both strategic and implementable.
• Establishes secure architecture patterns for Mythos and AI-enabled platforms, covering model governance, telemetry, and responsible AI usage.
• Partners across risk, compliance, engineering, data, and AI to deliver scalable, resilient, and compliant cyber capabilities, while advising leadership on risk, tradeoffs, and investment priorities.

Education And Experience Required :

• Education: Bachelor’s in computer science, IT, engineering, or related field
• 7+ years in Cyber Architecture, with 3+ years focused on Azure hybrid environments.
• Certifications: TOGAF, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AI/ML specialty certifications.
• Practical experience with model risk governance (SR 117), OCC guidance, and related financial services regulatory frameworks.
