Shipping Associate

Shipping Clerk

Hours of work - 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM Monday - Friday, with possible additional hours during peak times and at fiscal year-end. Must have experience on a reach truck (ensure this is clear shown in the resume). The managers availability is 9:00 AM and 2:30 PM excluding lunch noon to 1:00 PM. Associate will report to the shipping supervisor and will be responsible for pulling and inspecting orders as directed. Other responsibilities include:

Execute all aspects of the order pick and ship process for freight and small parcel shipping as assigned.
Efficiently pick customer orders per pick list.
Efficiently inspect all products pulled by other order pickers.
Wrap pallets for shipping and load trucks.
Operate reach truck, forklift, and pallet jack.
Utilize handheld scanners for all transactions.
Maintain excellent personal safety.
Collaborate to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
May be asked to flex into manufacturing departments as needed based on shipping workload.

Essential Skills, Education & Experience: High level of accuracy, efficiency, and attention to detail. 1-3 years shipping experience both domestic and international. 1-3 years experience operating a reach truck and forklift. Ability to perform math functions associated with the job such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50lbs. Prolonged periods of standing and walking. Able to work independently or as part of a team with limited supervision. Experience driving a reach truck.
