HR Manager

Job Description Job Description Primary Function(s)

Responsible for planning, directing and coordinating the Human Resource functions of the Company including recruiting, hiring, overall organizational training and development, managing benefit programs and in general promoting the positive function and growth of our team.

Job Responsibilities

· Plan, develop and implement strategies for team growth in close collaboration with Executive Management
· Plan, develop and implement strategies for testing of applicants and permanent employees for skill evaluation and training needs
· Plan, develop and implement strategies for training and organizational development. This includes succession planning and teammate performance appraisals
· Manage teammate benefit programs including health and workman’s compensation, holiday, vacation, and 401(k) Plans.
· Plan, develop and implement strategies for maintaining high level of teammate morale and cohesiveness.
· Maintain current knowledge and understanding of regulations, industry trends, current practices, new developments, and applicable laws regarding human resources.
· Help further and maintain Company work rules and discipline procedures.
· Manage teammate records

Minimum Requirements

· Bachelor’s Degree in human resources management or related field required
· A minimum of 5 years HR or Operational Leadership experience
· Demonstrated working knowledge of COBRA, FMLA, ADA, EEOC, benefits administration, compensation and unemployment standards.
· Incumbents in this position are required to demonstrate knowledge of and proficiency in job focused Safety Concepts and Procedures, Computer Use, Quality Standards, Process Operations, Technical and Maintenance Skills, and Administrative Procedures.

Desirable Skills and/or Training
· Familiarity with OSHA industrial standards
· First aid and CPR qualifications
