Compliance Specialist

As a Compliance Specialist, you'll help support high standards of care and regulatory compliance across our PACE programs. You'll conduct internal audits and monitoring, review Participant records, analyze data, and identify opportunities to improve documentation, processes, and care delivery. You'll work closely with the Compliance team and interdisciplinary teams to help ensure services are delivered consistently and in accordance with PACE requirements.
This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, analytical, organized, and comfortable working with healthcare data and documentation. You'll be part of a team focused on compliance, quality, continuous improvement, and supporting the best possible outcomes for Participants. Schedule:
Remote, full-time hours. Specific work hours will be established in consultation with your supervisor. While schedules are planned in advance whenever possible, participant care needs may occasionally require schedule adjustments, early start times, weekend rotations, or changes throughout the workday. - Complete recurring audits as defined by the Compliance Program.
- Conduct daily internal monitoring and audits to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Review Participant records for accuracy, completeness, consistency, and follow-through with care plan directives.
- Audit documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
- Identify documentation discrepancies and communicate findings to appropriate IDT members for follow-up.
- Assist with tracking and monitoring corrective actions and opportunities for improvement.
- Collect, organize, and maintain data for reporting and analysis.
- Track and analyze real-time data and compliance-related information.
- Review data to identify trends, patterns, and areas of concern.
- Prepare summaries and reports to support compliance and quality improvement efforts.
- Maintain knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures related to PACE services.
- Use sound judgment to identify potential deviations from standards of care or organizational requirements.
- Communicate findings and concerns clearly and professionally.
- Work collaboratively with Compliance, clinical leadership, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Participate in training and professional development activities related to compliance, quality, and PACE requirements.
- Support a culture of accountability, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, healthcare, business, or a related field preferred.
- Experience in healthcare compliance, quality assurance, auditing, or data analysis preferred.
- Experience working with healthcare documentation and electronic medical records preferred.
- Familiarity with PACE regulations, healthcare compliance, or quality programs is a plus.
- Experience with data management, reporting, and analysis tools, including Excel, preferred.
- Must be able to sit and work at a computer for extended periods.
- Must be able to remain focused and attentive while reviewing detailed documentation and data.
- May be subject to frequent interruptions and changing priorities.
- Must be able to use standard office and computer equipment.
