Assistant Manager

DESCRIPTION As an Assistant Manager, you will be the primary support to the General Manager. You will be cross-trained in all Arby's positions from guest services to food preparation to cash handling. As a cross-trained employee, you will ensure that your shift delivers a wonderful dining experience to our guests. An Arby's Assistant Manager typically has a wide range of responsibilities, which can include:
- Managing a shift of 4-8 employees efficiently in compliance with labor laws
- Training new team members on proper procedures and policies
- Handling guest complaints in a professional manner
- Developing strategies to increase sales and improve efficiency
- Managing inventory levels and ordering supplies as needed
- Overseeing the opening and closing of the restaurant
- Ensuring compliance with legal, health and safety regulations
- The ability to do deep cleaning in all areas of the store
- Setting a positive example for employees
- Assisting in accurate daily and monthly inventory counts
- Minimum of 2+ year in foodservice supervision
- Open Availability - can work opening and closing shifts, must be available weekends
- Must have reliable transportation
- Applicants must be at least 18 years old
- Serve Safe Certification is a plus! (Training may be provided to the right candidate to get certified.)
