Rendezvous Cafe and Wine Bar | 217 South Main Street
Job Summary
Join the vibrant hospitality team at Rendezvous Cafe and Wine Bar as a Line Cook. Located in the heart of downtown, our cafe and wine bar offers a welcoming environment with a focus on quality food and excellent guest service. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you'll work closely with our Chef and Sous Chef, gaining valuable experience in a fast-paced kitchen setting while contributing to our reputation for outstanding cuisine.
Key Responsibilities
- Food Preparation
- Assist the Chef and Sous Chef with daily food preparation
- Ensure ingredients are prepped and stations are properly stocked
- Kitchen Operations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned station
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Uphold restaurant standards for food quality and presentation
Requirements
- Previous experience as a line cook or in a fast-paced kitchen preferred
- Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation procedures
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a kitchen staff team
- Attention to detail and a passion for quality food
- Must be available to work part-time hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
Schedule
Part-time position; must be available for evening and weekend shifts.
