Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Duration: Contract Shift: Varied Hours per Shift: 48 Experience: 2 years required License: Active Nursing License Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Experience with heparin drips Description: We are seeking a skilled registered nurse for an intensive care unit. The unit has a capacity of 10 to 16 beds. The patient-to-nurse ratio is 1 to 4. The patient population includes individuals with sepsis, heart failure, hypertensive emergencies, and respiratory failure. Additional conditions include chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), chronic kidney disease, type 2 diabetes, substance abuse issues, and encephalopathy. Experience with heparin drips is required. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience. Current BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory.
