Overview Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) Earn $1,206 – $1,623/week (3x12s) | Night Shift | Full-Time Includes base pay of $33.50 – $45.09/hr + opportunities for shift differentials Department: Cardiopulmonary / Respiratory Therapy Job Type: Full-Time | Non-Exempt Location: Chicago Metro Area, Illinois – big-city lifestyle, strong healthcare market, no car required, lakefront living. Key Points Interview within 24 - 48 hours | Fast Offer Process Work in a high-acuity, critical care environment and advanced respiratory cases Competitive pay + shift differentials Career growth within a large healthcare system Responsibilities Provide respiratory care and pulmonary therapy per physician orders Manage mechanical ventilation, oxygen therapy, aerosol treatments, and airway management Perform and interpret arterial blood gas (ABG) analysis Conduct pulmonary diagnostic procedures and patient assessments Implement patient-specific care plans Document patient care, interventions, and outcomes accurately Serve as Lead RCP in the absence of a supervisor Respond to critical care situations and emergencies Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams Qualifications State Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) License required Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current. 2 years experience as a RCP preferred. ACLS certificate within 60 days of hire and maintain current. NRP certificate preferred. PALS certificate within 60 days of hire and maintain current. Associate Degree or Bachelor of Science degree preferred. High School Diploma or equivalent is required. A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $33.50 to $45.09 per hour. The exact compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
