Job Details Position: PACU Registered Nurse (Post-Anesthesia Care Unit RN) Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment Assignment Length: 13 weeks Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,130 - $2,250 Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week Shift Schedule: 5 day shifts, 8 hours each, with variable start times On-Call: Nights, weekends, and holidays as needed; approximately one weekend every three weeks Start Date: 10/19/2026 Location: Nantucket, MA 02554 Housing: Shared housing provided at no cost Job Requirements Active Massachusetts RN license BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required At least 1 year of recent PACU, perioperative, or circulating nurse experience preferred Scrub and circulate experience strongly preferred Ability to work variable start times and participate in call coverage Strong communication, teamwork, and adaptability in a surgical care setting Responsibilities Provide safe, attentive post-anesthesia recovery care to surgical patients in the PACU Monitor vital signs, pain levels, and overall recovery progress Support patient throughput and collaborate closely with the OR team and clinical staff Assist with scrub and circulate duties as needed in the perioperative setting Document patient care accurately and respond quickly to changes in patient condition Help maintain excellent patient flow while delivering compassionate care during all assigned shifts and call coverage Apply now for this rewarding travel RN job in Nantucket, Massachusetts and join a team committed to exceptional patient care.
