The Position

Our bank client is seeking to fill a Director of Marketing role in the Memphis, TN area. The position is responsible for assisting the management team in establishing marketing plans to support the achievement of the Bank’s strategic objectives.

The opportunity has a generous salary of up to $160K and a benefits package.  (This is not a remote position)

Director of Marketing responsibilities include:

• Planning, management, and execution of all marketing initiatives for the bank.
• Managing marketing budget and overseeing the allocation of all marketing-related expenditures throughout all markets and lines of business.
• Conducting marketing research, coordinating surveys, and focus groups, and utilizing marketing research methods to provide analysis and feedback to management.
• Coordinating marketing efforts with compliance to ensure consistency and that all regulatory requirements are met.
• Insuring proper and consistent Bank branding and imaging on all communication materials and at all internal and external events.
• Working with Shareholder Relations on the Annual Report and other shareholder communications.
• Overseeing the Bank’s public relations efforts.
• Coordinating employee participation at community events and bank-sponsored functions.
• Managing the process for Bank donations and sponsorships, working within set budgetary limits.
• Preparing external communications and press releases.

You also bring the following skills and experience:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university in marketing or other business-related fields.
• Five or more years of working in a marketing-related position.
• Mastery knowledge of effective marketing and sales strategies’ principles, practices, and procedures.
• Financial management experience.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook – Mastery knowledge required.
