Staff Pharmacist – Evening Shift | Contract-to-Hire

Location: San Antonio, TX
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 1:30 PM–10:00 PM
Assignment Type: 13-Week Contract-to-Hire
Setting: Closed-Door Long-Term Care Pharmacy

A growing long-term care pharmacy in San Antonio is seeking a Staff Pharmacist for an evening shift contract-to-hire opportunity. This role is ideal for pharmacists looking to build or expand their experience in the LTC setting while working alongside a collaborative pharmacy team focused on delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
Perform final verification of prescriptions and medication orders.
Ensure accuracy and compliance with pharmacy policies and procedures.
Supervise pharmacy technicians and support efficient workflow operations.
Dispense medications accurately and safely.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize medication therapy and patient outcomes.
Utilize the QS1 pharmacy system (training available).

Qualifications
Active and unrestricted Texas Pharmacist license required.
Recent pharmacist experience required.
Long-term care pharmacy experience preferred, but not required.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently during evening shifts.
New pharmacy graduates are encouraged to apply.
