CNC / Edgebanding Machine Operator

Explore opportunities in the Moberly Area. Operate CNC routers and edgebanding machines to produce high-quality cabinet components to specification. Load and unload materials, monitor machine operation, and adjust settings as needed for optimal performance. Read and interpret technical drawings, cut lists, and work orders. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment to minimize downtime. Inspect parts for quality and accuracy before moving them to the next stage of production. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and deadlines. Report any machine malfunctions or material issues to the supervisor immediately. Required Skills Proficient in operating CNC routers and edgebanders. Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings, blueprints, and technical schematics. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards. Familiarity with basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting. Preferred Skills Experience with Homag, or SCM CNC and edgebanding equipment. Understanding of cabinet construction methods and woodworking terminology. Knowledge of basic programming and setup for CNC machinery. Forklift certification or experience handling sheet goods. Soft Skills Strong work ethic and reliability. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to challenges. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. 1–3 years of experience operating CNC and/or edgebanding machinery in a manufacturing environment. Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods. Willingness to work overtime or alternate shifts as needed.
