Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid School Psychologist credential
- Experience with elementary school-age children preferred
- Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
- Familiarity with IEP process and special education regulations
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
- Collaborative approach and positive attitude
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psycho-educational assessments for students
- Develop evidence-based intervention strategies to address academic and behavioral challenges
- Participate in IEP meetings, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to educational planning and placement decisions
- Provide direct counseling and crisis intervention services to students individually or in groups
- Consult with teachers, families, and other school staff to develop support strategies for students
- Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
