Job Description
Bachelor’s degree in Education, valid state Teaching license or certification, and 1+ years Teaching experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Spindle is seeking a dedicated Bilingual (Spanish) General Education Teacher for a 5th/6th grade combination classroom in Rio Vista, California. This is an excellent opportunity for an educator who is passionate about supporting upper elementary students in a collaborative learning environment.
Position Details
- 5th/6th Grade Combination Classroom
- 6.5 hours of planning time per week
- Full-time schedule (Monday–Friday)
- Wednesdays follow an early-out schedule
$45/hr and up based on experience
Requirements
- Active California Multiple Subject Teaching Credential
- Must be bilingual in Spanish
- BILA Authorization (formerly BCLAD) preferred
- Authorization to teach English Learners
- Strong classroom management and instructional planning skills
- Ability to create an engaging, inclusive learning environment
