Role Purpose:
The purpose of a server at Uptown Alley is to provide excellent customer service and ensure that guests have an enjoyable dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic and Financial Responsibilities
- Upselling and Revenue Generation
- Payment Processing
- Table Turnover and Seating Optimization
Operational Responsibilities
- Compliance and Safety
- Problem Resolution
- Menu Knowledge
Customer Service Responsibilities
- Customer Satisfaction

Education & Qualifications:

Certifications in food safety and sanitation, such as ServSafe or Safe Food Handling
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Physical Stamina and Endurance-ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks in a hot and demanding kitchen environment

Experience:

Servers should have prior experience working as servers in a restaurant or hospitality setting
Strong understanding of front-of-house operations, including customer service techniques, order taking, and table service
Desirable - Previous experience in a high volume restaurant

Pay: $5 per hour plus tips
Department: Operations/Culinary
Location: On-Site
Travel Required: No
Working Pattern: Monday-Friday, Weekends, Nights, Holidays
Reports To: General Manager/AGM
Collaborates With: Management team, Administrative support
Supports & Engages With: FOH, BOH
