Full Stack DeveloperGenesis10 is currently seeking a Full Stack Developer for a contract position with a Leading Consumer Electronics Retailer located in Richfield, MN. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. Compensation: $81.00 - $95.00 per hour, W2, based on qualifications.Position Overview: This is a Software Engineering position within the client's merchandising domain on a team that manages Vendor Funds, a function that supports financial systems. The team is committed to agile engineering practices, code simplicity, and consistent high quality. The project involves supporting and maintaining an existing collection of legacy systems while also replacing those systems with distributed, scalable, custom applications.Key Responsibilities:Contribute to all aspects of software development and deliverySupport and maintain existing legacy systems which provide mission-critical value to the companyDevelop distributed, scalable, custom applications to replace legacy systemsBuild and maintain the new systems in a collaborative, flexible, and durable teamPrimary Requirements:5+ years of experience in software developmentFluent in a JVM based language (Java, Groovy, etc)Fluent in Test Driven DevelopmentStrong willingness to pair programDesired Skills:Service development (REST, JSON)Spring FrameworkData stores (Postgres, Oracle)KafkaLinux/bash proficiencyOpen source software (Apache, Tomcat, etc)React (or other Javascript single page app frameworks)BigQueryHighly collaborative and enjoy working with others to solve problemsFlexible, dependable and know how to have fun while getting a lot doneOpen and honest and willing to share and accept feedback and ideasOnly candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.If you have the described qualifications and are interested in this exciting opportunity, please apply!
