Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Floor Nurse in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. This position involves providing direct patient care in a neuro medical surgical unit within a highly technologically advanced facility. The role requires a commitment to clinical excellence and working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. The assignment is scheduled to start on 10/12/2026 and end on 12/26/2026.
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, participation in NIH (National Institutes of Health) and Swallow Screen preferred. Candidates should have at least 2+ years of experience in medical-surgical nursing.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in neuro nursing, competency in dysrhythmia detection, and ability to perform math dosage tests during orientation.
• Additional Information: Candidates must be able to handle common neurological diagnoses such as CVA, TIA, seizures, and mobility issues. Must be available for holiday shifts as determined during phone screening. Competency in dysrhythmia is required, with a test on day one of orientation.
• Dress Code: Scrubs in any color; unacceptable attire includes hoodies, t-shirts, shirts with wording or pictures, and facial piercings.
