About the Position

Job Title: Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech (CST) Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: Surgical Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (06:45 - 15:30) Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: Valid State License required Certifications: BLS, CST Must-Have: - Cataract and ENT experience required - Call required: 4 hours, 2 times per week Description: Local candidates are accepted. Previous charge experience preferred. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in various surgical procedures. Experience with charting systems is preferred. Candidates should be familiar with patient care for adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Daily census is approximately 25 patients. There are 3 operating rooms available. Candidates will assist in procedures with a focus on maintaining aseptic technique. Selected candidates may be required to handle specimens and ensure proper labeling. Call coverage and weekend shifts may be required as part of the role. Compliance with all policies and procedures is essential. Candidates must have references obtained within the past year.
