HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a local contract nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a local contract nursing job in Overland Park, Kansas.

Job Description & Requirements

Unit Specifics:

· Number of Beds : 16

· Patient Ratios : 1:1 (critically ill), 1:2

· Type of equipment : Ventilators, CRRT, Hemosphere, Impella, ICP monitors, Arterial/CVC lines

· Documentation system: Meditech

Procedures performed on unit: Cardioversion, PEG placements, EGD, bronchs, EVD placement, chest tube insertion, central line/art line placement, Rapid Sequence Intubation

 

Requested Skill Set: Critical care experience required, strong communication skills, ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary team, vent management, experience with sedation/vasopressors/blood products, comfort with goals of care conversations.

 

Requirements: 

Minimum 1-year current acute care ICU hospital experience

BLS, ACLS, NIH certifications
