Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Role Overview: A licensed Registered Nurse with clinical experience in a similar setting, practicing independently and delivering both routine and complex patient care. Responsible for assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing interventions while managing contingencies and delegating tasks to care providers. Key Responsibilities: Utilize the nursing process to provide comprehensive care, address emotional, psychological, cultural, and social needs, administer medications and treatments following protocols, document patient information, and educate patients and families. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred, with at least 1 year of related experience preferred. Current RN license, BLS certification, and relevant certifications such as NRP and ACLS required. Experience in a specialized setting like perinatal care is advantageous. Additional Requirements: Attend orientation, complete competency validations, and obtain necessary certifications within specified time frames. Strong communication, assessment, and delegation skills are essential.
