Staff Strategic Sourcing Manager - Logistics

We are looking for a Staff Strategic Sourcing Manager, Logistics to own sourcing strategy, supplier management, and commercial execution across key logistics spend categories that materially impact Oura’s cost of goods sold, with an initial focus on logistics, warehousing, freight, returns, and related business operations spend.This is a high-impact individual contributor role within the Sourcing team. The person in this role will bring strategic sourcing discipline, strong commercial judgment, and cross-functional influence to drive measurable savings and create long-term supplier strategies.This role works closely with Logistics, Finance, Operations, Program Management, and external supplier partners to ensure that Oura’s logistics sourcing decisions support service levels, scalability, and total landed cost objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn sourcing strategy and commercial execution across logistics, warehousing, freight, returns, and related categoriesLead RFQ, RFP, and competitive bid processes, including supplier selection, pricing negotiations, SLA alignment, contract terms, and multi-year commercial agreementsDeliver measurable cost reductions across freight, 3PLs, and returns providers through supplier benchmarking, cost modeling, and vendor negotiationsBuild and maintain dashboards, cost models, and reporting workstreams that track spend, savings, supplier performance, and key cost drivers across the portfolioEstablish KPIs and supplier scorecards covering cost, service, quality, on-time performance, and responsiveness, and lead regular business reviews to drive accountabilityPartner with Logistics, Finance, Operations, and Program teams to align sourcing decisions with service requirements, launch timelines, forecast changes, and business prioritiesStrengthen supplier governance and contract management to improve decision-making and operational execution and build long-term strategic partnershipsStandardize sourcing processes, commercial documentation, and supplier management practices to improve scalabilityQualificationsRequired:Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Operations, or a related field8-10+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, category management, or supply chain, with meaningful ownership of indirect spend categoriesProven track record in supplier negotiations, RFQ/RFP management, and contractingExcellent analytical, financial modeling, and project management skills with the ability to develop tools and dashboards for reporting workstreamsExcellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders without formal authorityExperience sourcing logistics, freight, warehousing, 3PL, returns, or related operational servicesMastery and knowledge of global trade compliance with the ability to integrate cost tradeoffs into a cohesive sourcing strategyPreferred:Experience operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with evolving processes and shifting prioritiesExperience in consumer electronics, medical device, consumer product, or similarly complex physical product environmentsFamiliarity with contract manufacturing and global supply chain networks including knowledge of tariffs, regulatory requirements, Incoterms, and Freight ForwardingExperience managing suppliers across North America, Europe, and AsiaKnowledge of procurement, ERP, and supply chain systemsWhat You’ll BringA strategic mindset with the ability to balance cost, quality, and speedComfort navigating ambiguity and creating structure in areas that do not yet have mature ownership or standardized processesPassion for building scalable sourcing systems and supplier partnerships that enable world-class manufacturing performanceStrong judgment in balancing short-term business needs with long-term supplier strategyA collaborative, team-first approach and the ability to lead through influenceBenefits At Oura, we care about you and your well-being.
