Interventional Radiology Technologist

Location: First Hill, WA

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Day shift, 4x10 hours (07:00 - 17:30)

Job Description: The Interventional Radiology Technologist is responsible for performing interventional procedures and assisting the physician in the delivery of patient care. The role requires expertise in advanced imaging techniques and procedures, along with the ability to ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the process.

Responsibilities

• Perform Y-90 chemotherapy delivery and GI bleeds.
• Conduct vein sampling and cryoablations.
• Assist in procedures such as biopsies, stent placements, and endovascular interventions.
• Monitor patients during Phase 2 recovery.
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient records using the EPIC system.
• Participate in floating to First Hill campus for regular shifts and call coverage.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and use of PPE.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role preferred.
• ARRT Certification in Radiography and BLS certification required.
• Current Washington State License as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
• Experience with a variety of imaging technologies and procedures, including access management and accurate monitoring.
