Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, your daily responsibilities will encompass a variety of critical tasks, including:

• Conducting thorough evaluations to assess patient history, physical condition, and rehabilitation needs, which includes administering specific tests and assessments to inform treatment plans.
• Communicating evaluation findings and collaborating with patients and their families on setting achievable rehabilitation goals.
• Implementing tailored treatment protocols based on each patient's unique profile, which may involve therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and patient education.
• Closely monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary while consulting with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
• Documenting all patient interactions and care plans accurately and promptly, including evaluation reports, progress notes, and discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
• Demonstrating effective time management and productivity by maintaining an organized schedule and fulfilling departmental objectives and standards.
• Engaging in community outreach and marketing initiatives to promote our services and enhance patient access.
• Serving as a mentor and clinical instructor for students during their training in physical therapy, enhancing academic and professional learning.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our Physical Therapists primarily work with a diverse population of orthopedic patients, including those recovering from surgeries, injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. You will develop individualized rehabilitation strategies to empower each patient on their path to recovery, focusing on enhancing functional mobility, reducing pain, and improving overall quality of life.

Qualifications

To thrive in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.
• A valid state license, as required by Florida regulations.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association.

Preferred Experience

While prior work experience is not mandatory, candidates who have experience in orthopedic rehabilitation or a clinical setting will be strongly considered. Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
