Compliance Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Compliance Project Manager to lead the delivery of projects that strengthen regulatory compliance, risk management and operational controls. This role will be responsible for coordinating end-to-end initiatives across multiple business areas, ensuring that activities are delivered on time, within scope and to a high standard. You will work closely with stakeholders at all levels to translate regulatory requirements into practical, sustainable processes and measurable outcomes.


Key responsibilities will include developing project plans, defining milestones, managing dependencies and maintaining accurate documentation throughout the project lifecycle. You will identify risks, issues and potential impacts, agree appropriate mitigations and provide clear progress reports to governance forums and senior stakeholders. The role will also involve coordinating implementation activity, monitoring actions, supporting the development of policies and procedures, and ensuring that project outcomes are embedded effectively within day-to-day operations. You may also contribute to audit preparation, regulatory responses, control testing and continuous improvement initiatives.


To be successful, you will have proven experience managing compliance, risk, governance or regulatory change projects, ideally within a highly regulated environment. You should be confident working with complex information, interpreting requirements and converting them into clear delivery plans. Strong stakeholder management, communication and organisational skills are essential, together with the ability to challenge constructively and influence without direct authority. Experience using project management methodologies, reporting tools and risk or issue management frameworks would be advantageous.
