Maintenance Equipment Technician III (3rd shift Tues-Sat 10PM to 7AM)

AbbVie seeks a Maintenance Equipment Technician III for third-shift operations at its Branchburg, NJ facility. The role involves performing preventive and corrective maintenance on diverse equipment, supporting reliability programs, and ensuring regulatory compliance in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive, predictive, and demand maintenance on electrical, plumbing, and process equipment
- Conduct vibration analysis, oil analysis, ultrasonic testing, and infrared heat mapping for reliability programs
- Diagnose and troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment to minimize downtime
- Calibrate field instrumentation including sensors, transmitters, and encoders
- Document maintenance activities in CMMS system and provide emergency support on off-shifts
Requirements
- High school diploma with 10+ years maintenance experience, or relevant certificate with 5+ years, or associate degree with 3+ years
- Proficiency in two or more skilled maintenance functions
- Knowledge of advanced diagnostic and predictive maintenance tools
- Intermediate Microsoft Windows computer skills
- Troubleshooting and repair skills for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic systems
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- CMRT or equivalent accreditation preferred
