Position Details

We are seeking a highly flexible and dedicated professional to join our team for day shifts. The schedule consists of 5 shifts per week, each lasting 8 hours, generally from 08:30 AM to 05:00 PM. However, start times may vary from 06:00 AM to 08:30 AM based on departmental needs.

Job Requirements

• Start Date: ASAP
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year required
• Licensure: Must hold a valid state license; pending licenses are accepted
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS required
• Weekend Requirement: No weekend shifts necessary
• Floating: Staff may need to float to the Main PACU if required

Facility Highlights

Job Responsibilities

• Provide pre-operative and post-operative care to patients undergoing outpatient surgeries.
• Monitor patients in Phase I and Phase II Recovery.
• Perform patient assessments and maintain accurate medical records.
• Educate patients and families on post-operative care and discharge instructions.
• Administer sedation and analgesic medications as per protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes.

Additional Information

• The work schedule is primarily Monday through Friday, with an expected commitment to work 3 out of 5 major holidays.
• No weekends, holidays, or call shifts are required.
• Previous charge experience is preferred.
• This position may require performing various outpatient surgical procedures, including but not limited to cataract extractions, cholecystectomies, and orthopedic surgeries.
