Job Title: Endoscopy RN Profession: RN Specialty: Gastroenterology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Experience: Minimum 3 years License: Active RN license Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - Intra-procedural technical experience - Gastroenterology experience - Minimum overall rating of 3.2 on skills checklist Description: Seeking an experienced Endoscopy RN to join our team. The facility is a level III trauma center with state-of-the-art operating suites. It provides healthcare services to a diverse patient population. This includes medical, surgical, and rehabilitation services as well as specialized units. The RN in this role will be responsible for pre, intra, and post-procedure care in endoscopy. Candidates must possess the skills for critical actions including biopsy and therapeutic injection. Familiarity with procedures such as colonoscopy, EGD, ERCP, and bronchoscopy is essential. The unit accommodates adult patients with mid to high acuity. The ideal candidate will demonstrate technical proficiency and the ability to assist team members. Weekend and evening call may be required based on case volume. Endoscopy RNs will be expected to troubleshoot equipment and supplies effectively.
