Job Summary:
The Operating Room (OR) Surgical Technologist position is available in Athens, Texas. This role involves supporting a variety of complex surgical procedures in a dynamic environment. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment. The position offers a Monday through Friday schedule with shift hours from 06:30 to 15:00.

• Required Qualifications: Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS); Texas or Compact state license in hand at the time of submittal; minimum 1.5 years of experience in operating room surgical tech roles; travel experience is required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with complex surgical procedures including Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm repair, Colorectal Robotic Surgery, and Orthopedic Robotic Surgery; trauma level I experience.
• Additional Information: Shifts are 10 hours with a rotating day off. Call is minimal, requiring only 1-2 shifts every 6 weeks. The candidate must have experience with Epic electronic medical records system and a minimum of 2 years of previous charge experience. Candidates should be aware of specific county restrictions where travelers are not contracted, namely Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, and Morris.
