Job Overview The Store Manager In Training (SMIT) program is a development-focused role that prepares candidates for a CVS Store Manager position. The program spans 16 weeks of self‑paced collaborative training, including virtual and hands‑on learning experiences. Key Responsibilities Actively engage with your leader in Key Learning Experiences to support your path to promotion during the structured program. Support the store as part of the management team and lead in a manner consistent with CVS values and policies. Engage colleagues in support of the company's mission to help people on their path to better health. Support customer service duties to provide high levels of service. Execute merchandising strategies to support store sales growth. Manage store inventory and assets to maintain profitability. Required Skills Strong verbal and written communication skills. Customer service orientation. Retail merchandising and inventory management. Qualifications and Experience High school diploma or GED (required). Bachelor's degree preferred. Retail management experience or experience as a CVS Supervisor. Willingness to accept a promotion to Store Manager role at any location within the designated market. Ability to transfer to other CVS Pharmacy stores within the designated market. Ability to work a schedule that may vary based on business needs. Compensation Anticipated weekly hours: 45 Time type: Full time Pay range: $18.50 - $23.88 per hour (base rate or annual full‑time salary depending on position).
